Sustainability at Vadobag
At Vadobag, we make conscious choices to contribute to a sustainable future. Sustainability is an important part of our business operations. We recognise the responsibility to have a positive impact on the world in which future generations grow up. Therefore, we strive to make more sustainable choices in our production processes step by step.
Recycled materials and controlling our production
Some of our collections are produced with recycled plastic, mainly rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate). This material comes from recycled PET bottles and other PET products. By gradually increasing the use of recycled materials and reducing the use of virgin raw materials, we are taking concrete steps towards more sustainable production.
In addition, we fully own our production chain, from design to finished product. This allows us to closely control every part of the process, guarantee quality and ensure that our products meet the highest standards. This direct control also gives us the flexibility to respond quickly to innovative sustainable developments and make continuous improvements.
Packaging made of recycled material
Our packaging is also produced with sustainability in mind. We use certified recycled material (GRS plastic) for our polybags and ship our products in sturdy export boxes made of recycled cardboard, certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Even the hangtags attached to our products are made of recycled material. Moreover, we strive to reuse export boxes as much as possible, to make not only our products but also our operations more sustainable.
Social compliance and a responsible chain
Vadobag is a member of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI). As a result, our production partners in Europe and China are audited annually for compliance with social standards. Together with our partners, we work to continuously improve working conditions throughout the chain.
Sustainable solutions for a greener future
At Vadobag, we combine style with sustainability. Our aim is to incorporate an increasing share of sustainable materials in our collections and thus reduce our ecological footprint. We invite you to join us in building a greener future - sustainable and responsible, without compromising on style and quality.

In a world where fashion and trends are constantly changing, companies are often left with large quantities of textiles that are no longer in line with current trends. Seasonal clothing, promotional materials, branding and sponsorship elements on garments, or overstock inventories all contribute to growing piles of textile waste. These materials are often discarded or given away, which not only wastes valuable resources but also has a negative impact on the environment. What if there were a way to give these materials a second life?
To make these circular ideas truly scalable, Vadobag works together with FC88, a Dutch organization that gives sports textiles a second life and focuses entirely on upcycling sportswear and sports materials. Through collaborations with partners such as the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), used materials are brought back into the value chain: training jackets and match flags are transformed into backpacks and bucket hats. As FC88’s production partner, we manufacture the final bags and accessories in our factory in North Macedonia. Together, we ensure that upcycling remains more than just a great concept and results in tangible, high-quality products that are actually used.
By reusing materials, an opportunity is created that goes beyond sustainability alone: a product that proves sustainability instead of merely claiming it. Made from materials with a traceable origin, each product carries a story that resonates with conscious parents, schools, and anyone looking to make sustainability a tangible part of their assortment. We are proud to be FC88’s production partner and part of this circular approach. Together, we demonstrate that seasonal textiles can have a longer lifespan and that collaboration is the key to creating real impact.
