Manual for maintenance and use of plastic (PP) lunch and snack boxes
Thank you for choosing our plastic lunch box or snack box!
These reusable boxes are designed to store your meals and snacks safely and efficiently. With proper care, you can use them for a long time. Here are some handy tips for using, maintaining and caring for your lunch box or snack box.
1. Use tips
Our PP (polypropylene) lunch boxes and snack boxes are food-safe and suitable for storing both dry and wet food. They help keep your meals fresh and are ideal for travelling.
The lunch boxes are ideal for cold meals such as salads, sandwiches, fruit and snacks. They are not suitable for hot dishes straight from the oven or microwave.
We recommend not using the lunch boxes and snack boxes in the microwave or oven. The high temperatures can damage the material.
2. Cleaning and maintenance
It is best to wash your lunch box or snack box by hand. Use warm water and a mild detergent to clean the box. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the surface.
We recommend not putting the lunch boxes and snack boxes in the dishwasher. The higher temperatures may damage the material.
After cleaning, drain the box well and dry it with a clean cloth to prevent mould or odour transfer.
3. Protection and Care
Although PP is a strong and durable material, it can break or tear when hit hard or dropped. In addition, the print on the lunch box or snack box may wear out over time, especially with heavy use or repeated contact with rough surfaces. Therefore, treat the lunch box or snack box with care and try to avoid bumps and falls.
Store lunch boxes in a dry place and avoid exposure to extremely high temperatures, such as direct sunlight or heat sources, to avoid deformation or discolouration.
Make sure the lid is tight to prevent leaks. Some lunchboxes have a locking clip or elastic band for extra security.
4. What to do in case of damage
If your lunch box or snack box has small scratches or cracks, this usually does not affect its functionality, as long as the box does not leak. Make sure the lid seals tightly. In case of severe damage or cracks, we recommend replacing the box to prevent leakage.
5. Sustainable use and recycling
PP lunch boxes and snack boxes are designed to be used repeatedly, contributing to less waste. By using your lunchbox regularly, you contribute to a more sustainable environment.
PP plastic is fully recyclable. When your lunchbox is at the end of its life, you can return it for recycling to reuse the material. Check local recycling guidelines for proper disposal.
Thank you for caring for your lunch box or snack box!
By taking good care of your lunch box or snack box, you can extend its lifespan and contribute to a more sustainable world at the same time. We hope you enjoy your lunchbox for your meals and snacks!
