Aluminium drinking bottle maintenance and repair manual

Thank you for choosing our aluminium drinking bottle!

We want to make sure you enjoy your bottle to the fullest. Here are some useful tips on how to maintain and use your bottle so that you can use it safely and for a long time.

1. Use tips

To get the most out of your aluminium drinking bottle, follow the tips below:

  • Suitable for cold drinks

The aluminium bottle is ideal for cold drinks. Use the bottle for water, juice or other refreshing drinks. Avoid filling with carbonated drinks, as these can build up pressure and damage the bottle.

  • Avoid hot liquids

Aluminium bottles are not suitable for hot drinks like coffee or tea, as the material does not retain heat well and can burn your hands.

  • Not suitable for the microwave

Aluminium bottles should never be used in the microwave. The metal can react dangerously when exposed to microwaves

2. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Manual cleaning

It is best to wash your aluminium drinking bottle by hand. Use warm water and a mild detergent, and avoid abrasive cleaners that can damage the surface

  • Use a bottle brush

A bottle brush helps to properly clean the hard-to-reach parts of the bottle, such as the bottom and the inside of the neck.

  • Not dishwasher-safe

We recommend not putting the aluminium drinking bottle in the dishwasher. The higher temperatures may damage the material.

  • Dry the bottle well

After cleaning, drain the bottle well and dry it with a clean cloth to prevent rust or mould.

3. Protection and care

  • Avoid falls or hard knocks

Although aluminium bottles are durable, they can be dented or scratched by hard knocks or when dropped. In addition, the print on the bottle may wear off over time, especially with heavy use or repeated contact with rough surfaces. Therefore, handle the bottle with care and try to avoid bumps and falls.

  • Store in a dry place

Store your bottle in a dry and cool place, out of direct sunlight, to avoid discolouration and damage to the material.

  • Use a protective cover

To avoid scratches, dents and wear and tear on the print, put your bottle in a protective case, especially if you take it with you often.

4. What to do in case of damage or defects

  • Dent or damage

If your bottle has suffered a dent, it is important to check whether the inside of the bottle is still intact. A damaged bottle can affect its ability to store liquids properly. If your bottle is significantly damaged, we recommend not using it again.

5. Sustainable Use and Recycling

  • Reuse

Aluminium bottles are designed to be reused. Use your bottle as often as possible to reduce plastic waste and contribute to a more sustainable world.

  • Recycle

Aluminium is an excellent recyclable material. When your bottle comes to the end of its life, you can return it for recycling so that the material can be used again.

Thank you for caring for your aluminium drinking bottle!

By taking good care of your bottle, you can enjoy its use for longer while contributing to a more sustainable environment. We hope you continue to experience the benefits of your bottle!
